Bael as one specific demon was created when Christianity regarded ancient pagan gods as demons and demonology divided the demonic population of the Underworld in several hierarchies.

He also has the power to destroy dignities, both temporal and supernatural.

Vassago is a mighty Prince of Jinnestan ruling over twenty-six legions of demons.
He is said to be of the same nature as Agares and is sometimes called the Prince of Prophecy.
He can be persuaded to tell the magician of events past and future can discover hidden and lost things, and has a "good" nature.
Vassago appears as an aged man riding a crocodile and carrying on his right wrist a Goshawk.
His eyes are hollow and see into other dimensions, but he is blind in this dimension.

He gives the understanding of the voices of the animals, says past and future, conciliates friends and rulers, and he can lead men to hidden treasures that have been hid by the enchantment of magicians.
He appears as a horned archer or hunter in the woods with four kings sounding horns before him.
He is similar to Robin of the Woods or Jack in the Green.
He teaches how to decipher what animals speak of, knows of buried treasures, can reconcile disagreements between friends, and knows of past and future events.

Paimon is one of the Kings of Jinnestan, more obedient to Lucifer than other kings are, and has two hundred legions of demons under his rule.

And when Paimon appears he must be allowed to ask what he wishes and be answered.
He is depicted as man with a woman's face, wearing a crown made with precious stones, and riding a dromedary.
